Gorgeous abalone/mother of pearl flat oval discs with a multicolored pearlescent finish
Mounted to a metal screw on backing that is part silver tone metal and part copper tone
The screw on backs allow you to fit them to your lobes as securely and comfortably as you like
They are signed simply "HASKELL" along the back of the screw on hardware. Research indicates that this marking was used on earrings from the 1940s to the 1970s making these a true mid-century statement piece!
The jewel part of the earrings measures approx. 0.75"X0.5"X0.125"
They are pre-owned. The mounting of the jewel looks to possibly have been repaired on one earring. They have wear consistent with vintage screw back earrings, however they remain in very good condition.
