Edge-grain butcher blocks are constructed using wood strips that run the full length of the block, providing a clean and pleasing look. These particular counter tops are 1-1/2 inches thick, 42 inches wide, 48 inches long, and finished with Varnique - a varnish-like material that requires little maintenance, but that should not be directly cut upon.
