- 1 Quart of Custom Shop Premium Universal Adhesion Promoter and Tie Coat. A ready-to-spray single-component adhesion promoter that combines an adhesion promoter, flex agent, and blending aid all in one. It is VOC compliant in all 50 states for autobody and industrial use.
- This high-performance adhesion promoter is ideal for use in the auto body collision repair market. It is an easy-to-apply, fast-drying coating that provides superior adhesion on all flexible and rigid plastic parts. It can also be used as a mid-coat adhesion promoter by effectively “tying” multiple layers of paint together.
- It is compatible for use over all solvent-based urethanes and epoxy coatings, including acrylic lacquers, primers, sealers, and basecoats. It can also be used on all common automotive plastics, as well as glass, aluminum, fiberglass, body filler, rubber, vinyl, and painted surfaces. However, it is not recommended for use over bare metal.
- Adhesion promoter minimizes the need to sand and abrade surfaces in difficult-to-access areas and hard-to-sand areas like under hoods, door jams, and deck lids. The adhesion promotor can be added as a flex agent in a clear and primer. It improves melt-in and edge-wetting when blending colors. It provides outstanding bonding adhesion before applying truck bed liner coating products like Custom Coat, UPol Raptor, and Gator Guard.
