When install the forward propeller, use this tool to install the forward propeller nut and tighten toapproximately to 45 ft. lbs.(60 N-m). Rear Propeller Nut Tool Quickly remove the rear propeller nut, and then easily remove the rear propeller. When install the rear propeller, use this tool to install the rear propellernut Oand tighten to 50ft. lbs.(70 N-m). Removal of Prop Propellers 1. Place the shift control in the forward position to lock the propeller shafts. 2. Remove the rear propeller nut. 3. Remove the rear propeller . 4. Place the shift control in the reverse position to lock the forward propeller. 5. Remove the forward propeller nut . 6. Remove the forward propeller. lnstallation of Prop Propellers 1. Apply a light coating to the propeller shaft splines using propeller shaft grease. 2. Place the shift control in the forward position to lock the propeller shafts. 3. Install the forward propeller. 4. Install the forward propeller nut and tighten approximately to 45 ft. lbs.(60 N-m). 5. Place the shift control in the reverse position to lock the propeller shafts. Install the rear propeller. 6. Install the rear propeller nut and tighten to 50ft. lbs. (70 N-m).
